Description
Russian 9S18M1 'Kupol-M1' (NATO designation 'Snow Drift') is modern mobile 3D all altitude early warning radar, designed specially for 'Buk' SAM systems, also known under NATO codenames SA-11/17. The radar also can be used in other SAM systems like 'Kub' (SA-6 'Gainful') and Tor-M1 (SA-15 Gauntlet). It has range 100 km and deployment time 5 minutes. Its crew consist of 3 men. Animation tip: the radar can be used in two modes: as for 30-40 deg. sector search with scanning period from 2,5 to 4,5 sec; and 360 deg. surveillance search with speed one round per 6-60 sec. depend on air situation.
