In this images i used the texture map as an alpha map to show two diferent materials metalic red and pure withe, The Max format is saved in that way. in the other formats if you use the texture maps as an diffuse maps you obtain the same helmet but in black and white.
You can use the diffuse mao as an alpha map in you preffer software to mix diferent materials.
The texture maps size is 2048 X 2048 so you can do really closeups.
