No pinching of geometry
Good use of the model topology and acceptable polygon count for content type
Limited or no N-Gons (5+ sided faces)
Provided textures do not have artefacts caused by heavy compression
Good quality UVW mapping with textures that map correctly to the model
Consistent normals with no back facing polygons
No holes in the mesh caused by unwelded vertices
No isolated / floating vertices
